Coca Cola™ was sponsoring the Salt Lake Winter Olympics, with Lance Armstrong set to lead the torch across America. The torch, following Lance, would be carried by more than 11,000 torchbearers, traveled over 13,500 miles through 125 cities in 46 states. The creative executions inspired consumers themselves to assist Lance and ensure the flame would continue on its journey to open the winter games.
